The year is almost over. Doing some a year in review and preparing for 2026.

Meeting with the neurosurgeon this week to talk about my back. Its been pretty bad and I’m looking forward to finding solutions.

In rotation. The Art of Profitability, and The Relationship Handbook. Such a good weekly read to reflect on.
Building a Company- the Roy Disney biography. So good. I love the Disney company and Walt, but learning the secret sauce wasn’t just Walts vision… Roys business saavy.
Family
My wife and I are working really hard on the self betterment process. We aren’t as good at it as we could be but are dedicated to doing the work for ourselves and each other.
My Father in Law passed. We are finding peace with each other.

Quotes I’ve been pondering
Not a quote per se, but a good thought exercise on having opinions.
When playing poker, when you see someone play a bad hand, its not your job to tell them. Its your job to let everyone at the table play bad hands while you focus on playing a good hand.
I don’t need to spend any time offering suggestions or better ways or how this should be or anything. I need to focus on how I can be better. Thats it. Play my hand the best I can.
